Saginaw Control & Engineering provides a range of technical information related to our enclosures, including:
Performance Guidelines

Saginaw Control & Engineering has received numerous requests for technical information concerning our enclosures. These installation instructions are provided for your convenience.

The dimensions furnished on this web site are presented to enable the user to determine proper installation of stock parts. Dimensions may vary on parts manufactured to meet custom specifications.

Enclosures are designed and manufactured for permanent floor or wall mounting. Until securely mounted, many enclosures require stabilizing support. Care should be taken during storage, handling, and assembly to avoid severe impacts or shocks.

SCE products are designed primarily for industrial or commercial electrical applications. Installation of electrical components should be performed by properly trained and qualified electricians who are experienced in modern industrial electrical installation and all applicable codes and regulations.

Before any circuits are energized, all internal and external electrical and mechanical clearances must be checked to assure proper functioning. Due to the variety of installed equipment, applications, and location, SCE cannot anticipate all possible interferences.

SCE enclosures are designed to meet the specifications as described in our catalog. The safety or effectiveness of any additions or alterations cannot be assured if they are not made in the plant. Accessory items are designed to function with SCE enclosures, and SCE does not recommend these items be used with enclosures manufactured by others.

The performance guidelines shown on this web site were determined under one set of test conditions and are supplied as a general guide only, as conditions vary with each application. It is recommended that the user test the enclosures for his particular application.

The right is reserved to make changes in dimensions, materials and specifications without notice. We recommend that you consult Saginaw Control and Engineering for current technical data or for any questions you may have in conjunction with this web site.
