We’re excited to announce an enhancement to our 18″ and 24″ painted steel Folding Shelf models.
These shelves are being updated with a redesigned Shelf Stay, support brackets that secure the shelf during use and allow it to fold flat when not needed. The new design introduces an integrated locking feature that makes operating the shelf easier and more convenient.
What’s New?
The updated Shelf Stay automatically locks into place when the shelf is raised slightly past 90 degrees. To release it, simply lift the shelf again and lower it into the folded position.
This new design offers several benefits:
- Convenient one-handed operation
- Easy locking action
- Simpler and more intuitive operation compared to the previous design, which could require two hands to release
Transition to the New Design
The updated Shelf Stay will be introduced gradually on all 18″ and 24″ painted steel Folding Shelf models as existing inventory of the previous design is depleted. During this transition period, customers may receive either version of the Shelf Stay. Both designs meet the same quality and performance standards, with the new version providing an enhanced user experience.
