SCE - Type 3R Enclosures

Saginaw Control & Engineering's Type 3R Enclosures are designed to house electrical controls, instruments and components.

These enclosures are primarily used in an outdoor environment to protect against rain, sleet and snow, and indoors against dropping water.

Rain cap to prevent direct entry of water.

Memory retaining oil resistant urethane gasket.

Any of the standard SCE quarter turn replacement latches and handles can be used.

Hinged 3R Enclosures incorporate the exclusive SCE concealed hinges.

Vented 3R Enclosures are furnished with rain hoods with filters and cooling fans that exhaust out the top.

The Vented 3R Enclosures rain cap design acts as a solar shield to minimize solar heat gain.
